Playa Grande is a long wild beach inside Las Baulas National Marine Park, one of the most important leatherback turtle nesting sites in the world. Surfing is consistent, the town stays quiet and undeveloped, and at night between October and February you can join a ranger-guided turtle tour. We provide private transfers from Liberia Airport in about 1.5 hours.
