Playa Avellanas is a long wild surf beach south of Tamarindo, loved by surfers and travelers looking for a bohemian scene. Palm trees line the sand, tide pools appear at low tide, and the legendary surfing pig of 'Lola's' beach bar attracts visitors from all over.
